Asset Company

Neal serves as Managing Partner of The ASSET Company and provides corporate leadership and general administrative management. He has direct sales responsibility in Mississippi, West Tennessee, and North Florida for all represented manufacturers and in Alabama for RFL Electronics only. Neal also is an active participant in the engineering section of the business, offering conceptual and detailed protection, control, and metering designs, and electrical system studies, including short circuit, coordination, insulation coordination, harmonic/power quality, motor starting, and load flow analysis.

With 25 years in power transmission, delivery, and in-plant distribution, he offers application experience ranging from radial fed public power substations, to ring bus and breaker failure designs, to series compensator, static var control, and frequency converter stations. Neal's project management experience has led consistently to on-time/on-budget implementation of these type projects.

Neal has held a position with a sales agency in the Southeast, representing relay, metering, test equipment, and communications companies, and was formerly associated with a regional engineering contractor for six years as Vice-President, Substation Engineering & Construction. There he led EPC (engineering/procurement/construction) efforts for electric substation and industrial power projects. Neal has also held several positions at the General Electric Company, Jackson, Miss., for 10 years, initially as a field engineer and later as Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Engineering Manager.
